Plot Images on Gravestatus.co.uk

Uploading images of graves is beneficial for burial authorities, as it allows relatives to quickly verify they are viewing the right plot from the comfort of their own home and see any damage that requires attention.

Unfortunately Images can not be uploaded and tied to burial records unless the burial ground is image activated on the system.

Images take up valuable space on a server and this imposes additional costs on us, to ensure we can continue to offer our data hosting service 'FREE' we manage uploaded images separately and charge a one off image activation fee to meet the additional expenses we will incur.

How much is image activation?

The cost of image activation is dictated by the number of records each burial ground has. The activation fee is pre set at 5p per record.

Example:

Ground 'A' has 5,000 records hosted on the server
5,000 records @ 0.05p each = £250 plus vat for image activation

How many image may be uploaded?

Image activations is granted to full grounds not individual plots
1 image can be uploaded to every plot record in an image activated burial ground, these uploaded Images can be, replaced or deleted as necessary by the burial authority following image activation, but they are not archived on our server.

How are images activated / uploaded?

Image activation can be requested for any ground, at any time, the activation fee is payable once only and the authorisation is granted by cemsafe Ltd on cleared funds.
